What does a Google Ads agency do?+
It plans, builds and manages your campaigns: keyword and audience strategy, ads, bidding, budgets, landing pages and conversion tracking. A good one also shows you which searches produce customers and which waste money.
How much should I spend on Google Ads?+
Work backward from what a customer is worth to you and what a lead costs in your market. The budget needs to be large enough to collect readable data within a few weeks. We model this with you before recommending a number.
What is Performance Max, and should I use it?+
Performance Max is a Google Ads campaign type that runs across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Discover, Gmail and Maps from one campaign. It can work well for ecommerce and lead generation when conversion tracking is accurate and brand searches are kept separate. We decide campaign by campaign.
Are Local Services Ads better than Google search ads?+
They do different jobs. Local Services Ads charge per lead and appear at the top of Google for many service searches, while search ads give you more control over keywords, messaging and landing pages. Many service businesses run both.
How long does it take to see results from Google Ads?+
Campaigns can bring in leads within days, but most accounts need several weeks of data before bidding and budgets settle. In the Pedego case study, the rebuilt account and landing page reached record months within six months on roughly the same budget.
What’s changing with Local Services Ads?+
Google has started moving Local Services Ads into Google Ads, where they run as Performance Max campaigns with pay-per-lead bidding. The first phase began in the US in August 2026 and includes roofing. In 2025, Google also replaced the Google Guaranteed and Google Screened badges with a single Google Verified badge.
Can you take over an account another agency built?+
Yes. We start with an audit of tracking, structure and search terms, keep what works and change the rest in stages so performance doesn’t drop while we rebuild.
Do you need access to our Google Ads account?+
For management, yes, through your own account, so you keep ownership of the data and history. For a first look, our free ad review needs no account access at all.
